On July 9th Alex turned ONE and we celebrated at a beautiful lakeside park with family for a "bubbles"-themed party. He loved the balloons and balls and bubbles, and thoroughly enjoyed his cake. This was the first time that we've been near family for one of the kids' birthdays, and it was wonderful to be able to celebrate with them all.At one year old, Alex:
Loves to laugh.
Loves to tease. I can ask him to say, "Mama" a hundred times and every time he'll laugh and say, "Dada!" Hilarious.
Adores his brother and sister, and lights up whenever they come into the room.
Says, "Mama" (sometimes), "Dada", "Uh-Oh", and "Gar-gar" for garbage.
His favorite thing is to put his dirty diaper in the big garbage can in the garage.
Gives huge, drool-y-mouthed kisses.
Is such a sweet little peanut and we don't know what we'd do without him.
We hoped this would help him take his first steps...he loved it.
